From 2007 through 2013 he moved to central Oklahoma where he was the farm manager and breeding assistant on a quarter horse breeding farm. After graduation in 2000 he attended West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX graduating with a degree in Equine Business and Economics. He was an altar server up until he graduated and participated in CCD and CYO. Jarret was born and raised in Dalhart, TX where his family has a small farm and cow/calf operation.
